THFC Soccer Schools 2

IGOALS have helped THFC Soccer Schools bring shooting skills to more people - before IGOALS they were unable to have goalposts at each event. The goals are used worldwide all year round at many events including Hotspur Junior Cup - a prestigious tournament attracting 1,000 players and their supporters and also Chance of a Lifetime which saw 600 children enjoying a mini tournament on the pitch at White Hart Lane. The IGOALS are also used to help provide after school provision in the local North London community.

"We are delighted to have Igoal as our official Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Schools partner. The 2 year deal will see Igoal supporting all our Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Schools events, including: Holiday courses, soccer Skills, Roadshows, Tournaments and Fun Days with their innovative range of inflatable football goals."
(Mark Jones, Football Development Manager, Tottenham Hotspur FC)

Between The Sticks

Between the Sticks Goalkeeping School have been using IGOALS for almost two years now. They are used for sessions each week on all surfaces including astro and 3G pitches - before IGOAL they used cones and poles - not much good for realistic goalkeeper training.

The goals are also used by the principles of BTS in their roles at AFC Bournemouth and Dorset FA with Girls Centre of Excellence and Community projects.

"The Goals are used for age 7 years up to adult. Grass roots, Semi-pro & professional. The sessions are run for the grass roots goalkeepers under 12s / over 12s & experienced goalkeepers."
(Robbie Yeates, Between the Sticks)

Oxford United

Conference league club Oxford United provide a wealth of coaching and other provision from their Kassam Stadium base on the outskirts of Oxford. The IGOALS have given them valuable extra coaching time as the goals don't take forever to put up. The IGOALS are used every weekend by coach Richard Blackmore for the Centre of Excellence coaching and matches including the Intermediate 16x7 IGOAL which has helped them with the move to the 9v9 format in the local area. The goals are also used by former Chelsea player Peter Rhoades-Brown for his FITC work which includes after school clubs, holiday courses and other valuable community work.

Hertfordshire FA

"The convenience and durability of the goals makes them perfect for any football development project. Working with Redyset will undoubtedly benefit the work that Hertfordshire FA does, as well as players and coaches of all ages across the County.
From Disability Festivals to County Cup Finals to Coach Ed Courses, being able to use the IGOAL has added that plus one which makes a difference to the work we do."

(Joe Goude, Hertfordshire FA Football Development Officer)

Manchester FA

Manchester County FA and Central Salford Urban Regeneration Company (URC) got together to identify key initiatives to support grass roots football in Salford. Now launched as part of The FA RESPECT initiative is the Pilot FA Charter Standard League.

"By taking the opportunity to invest in the National Game at a local level we have been able to support the local clubs participating in the City of Salford League by funding the replacement of all Mini-Soccer Goals with the innovative inflatable football IGOAL from Redyset."
(Chris Marsh, Director of Community Regeneration for Central Salford)

"The initiative and joint working of all key partners to create this opportunity should not be underestimated. The National Game Strategy has clear goals and increasing the number of teams playing the game can only be enhanced by initiatives like this one."
(Colin Bridgford, Manchester County FA)

Rachel Yankey MBE

Rachel Yankey MBE, 28, is the current captain for the trophy winning Arsenal Ladies team. She has 82 caps and has scored 11 goals for England. She was born and lives in North London and has been actively involved in football through In-School sessions, after school programmes as well as her own team at Gibbons Rec which provides training and matches for 6-13 years olds and some friendly games against other soccer clubs.

"The aim of my Football Programme is to provide the best quality football coaching to all for the greatest enjoyment of the game. I want all children to be able to start, stay and succeed at football without prejudice or discrimination. My Football Programme has been running for over three years in over ten schools across North London. My coaches are all FA level 2 or above with police CRB clearance. We provide curriculum training, after-school clubs and Saturday morning sessions. I have found the Igoal very easy to use. The advantage of having a safe, quick and easy goal to set up which is compact for storage is excellent for our club"
(Rachel Yankey, MBE, Arsenal Ladies Captain)

GUBOG

"The ethos of Give Us Back Our Game (GUBOG) is very simple - it is about celebrating the children's game and Redyset are delighted to be able to support them with IGOALS which mean that every child gets to hit the back of the net!"
(Paul Cooper, GUBOG - "connecting the dots between childhood, sport and play")

"We didn't need a referee; we accepted the rules of the game and stuck by them. For us not to have done so would have spoilt the game for everyone. It taught us that you can't go about doing what you want because there are others to think of, and if you don't stick to the rules, you spoil it for everyone else. Of course, that was not a conscious thought at the time but looking back those kick about games on the waste ground did prepare us for life"
(Stanley Matthews)

"When I asked the kids what the best bit was from the day, they virtually all said playing without coaches, referees or patents telling them what to do."
(Coach, Football Holiday Camp, Spain)

"Players who never normally get to score goals were having the time of their lives banging them in!"
(Coach,Kent)

Bolton, Bury & District Junior Football League

The Bolton, Bury & District Junior Football League welcomes any teams based within an 8 miles radius of Bolton Town Hall. The 2008-09 season saw 430 teams which gave 5,300 children the opportunity to take part every weekend. Redyset are proud to sponsor the U9's which use the Junior 12x6 IGOAL for the 7v7 format with the 9v9 format using the Intermediate 16x7 IGOAL.

"I have tested these goals and must admit, before doing so I laughed my socks off! Blow up goals! Never... Well... I tried them... I tested them and found they were superb! The posts are solid and firm. The net is attached. The whole thing takes 30 seconds to put up. It comes in a bag lighter and smaller than anything else I have every used before. It actually works as a goal! It can be pegged down, it can be weighted down. It doesn't blow away! It is actually a very good product. I can fit eight of these goals in the boot of my car. I can carry two of these with ease! I can put these up in about two minutes!"
(Warren Barlow, General Secretary, Bolton, Bury & District Junior Football League)

Lancashire School Sports Partnership

"The IGOALS have enabled us to improve the quality of primary inter school competitions no end. Three clusters of schools now use the goals for central venue leagues across the partnership with over 30 schools involved in leagues. Previously they had used goals with no nets, goals that took time to put together and even corner flags as goals. Now the young leaders have all the goals up within 5 minutes on up to 5 pitches in some cases and our primary colleagues and pupils think they are the business."
(Kevin Loughran PDM, Lancashire School Sports Partnership)
